Durban Wireless Community and its members are not responsible for the uptime of the DWC network as it is a community based network with too many factors to guarantee uptime. By you connecting to the DWC network accept the Acceptable use policy and will adhere to it. DWC or any member working on any person’s equipment cannot be held responsible for any loss of data, damage or theft of equipment connected to the network.
We are willing to help but all of us have real lives that get in the way of our passion for wireless so if we can help we will, but no member will feel obligated in anyway to help or fix anything however much has been donated to DWC in anyway be it cash, hardware or beers. We suggest you learn how it works so you can fix it.
DWC does sell hardware with a minimal markup which goes into the kitty for funding of links. This is purely supply, we do not support it, however if we can, we will help. Normal supplier guarantee’s apply, therefore flashing a WRT54G/L will void the warranty.
