Saturday morning, weather perfect. I set off to collect the crew. David and Luke. It is important to note that I picked up Luke at about 10h00 and he was awake!!!!
We loaded the car with everything from grids to cable ties. including a vacuum cleaner.
made a short stop to pick up some electrical cable for the Tollgate install. We thought we were going to be doing that one first but managed to get hold of Sandhir so we headed for town first.
We caught ever robot in town and as we got closer to town so Luke and my stomachs started to get nervous feelings and thoughts of us being liberated from our cellphone again and maybe this time the car. but managed to run the gauntlet and arrive safe.
We mounted an already prepared UT4 with an RB532 inside with a WLM54AG radio ran a homemade POE cable and injector to the board and connected the RB532 to the 3 WRTS with a UTP cable. mounted a 24 dBi 5Ghz grid and lined it up as best we could to tollgate
I decided to take the lead on the drilling as it was for a good cause and we put up easy holds for the two UTP cables. Rearranged the rats nest into a different corner.
took about three hours or so but we wanted to make sure everything was going to work as it's not Lukes favorite place on earth and we didn't want to come back.
good work guys
Well Done Luke for getting the RB box together and the other bits
