The Durban Wireless Network uses the 172.19.0.0/16 range. We have agreements with other WUGs on which IP ranges to use - so that if we ever wanted to interlink the networks, the IP ranges would be inter-compatible. We use a routed infrastructure - so each user has his/her own subnet. At the moment, we are using RIP to exchange routes between our high-sites.

All allocations and and names must confirm to the DWC Naming Conventions

Please contact a member of the Core Team for assistance with IPs and naming.
